3. July 19[sup]th[/sup] 2012 Informational Post: Official Statement General News Following the past couple days of chaos an official statement is available from EBAN, the company that now oversees MedLink until further notice. In a statement released by EBAN earlier today "Upon acquisition of MedLink by EBAN, EMS services would then be resumed temporarily under the existing MedLink structure and livery until such a time that the respective municipalities with contracts for EMS could make important decisions about the future of their EMS services. We at Emergency Bricks Ambulance Network feel compelled to urge all existing MedLink contracts to be seriously reconsidered and, in all honesty, terminated as soon as possible as the operational capabilities of MedLink as well as their reputation within the community have been entirely compromised. Your communities deserve stable EMS service without the risk or poor industry reputation. The former acting MedLink CEO Keller Brown is said to be facing civil and criminal charges at a future date to answer for his recklessness and putting so many at unnecessary risk. Thankfully, so far there have been no reports of serious injury or death that have resulted from his suspension of EMS services thanks to the first responder capabilities of the respective fire departments and rescue agencies that stepped up to ensure all 911 calls did not go unanswered. MedLink's founder James Kontoules was on leave from the company unable to be reached for comment at this time. It is unlikely EMS services from MedLink will ever be the same with the reputation so grossly tarnished, and should ownership be transferred back, it remains unlikely that MedLink ever reach its notoriety in the industry it once had. As previously stated, existing MedLink EMS contracts will continue to be temporarily operated under EBAN management until such a time that municipalities can reconsider the future of their EMS services in their towns. As for future operations under EBAN, MedLink will be re-branded as MEDLINK Transports, a non-emergent medical transport primarily specializing in routine transports and wheel chair van transportation." July 18[sup]th[/sup] 2012 Re:Support Our Unions Breaking News Following yesterdays abrupt, but brief suspension of MedLink Ambulance Service issued by Keller Brown, several cities including the City of Chalottesburg protested the loss of MedLink Service that left millions of Mini-figs around stranded without Emergency Medical Service. We ask you to join your fellow Union Members to put an end to the recent changes executed by the CEO, Keller Brown at once. Service had been briefly suspended but was later reinstated. Several cities scrambled to call upon Mutual Aid as calls poured in for service. Owner James Kontoules was unavailable for comment. However, the MedLink CFO Paulo Rodriguez. called it quits after 2 years of superior service. "It is with great sorrow that I must announce that MedLink will no longer provide Emergency Medical Services to any part of LEGO Land, and in this card sent out to every member, I resign from my position as CFO, and I beg of all of you to remove yourself from the group as it is now under control of a clueless child that means no good for the company. I am very sorry if I ever let you down, but this my pride and joy and I hope I can make all of this mess up to you guys in the Future. –Paulo R" There is no word on what called for the unexpected disaster but we will continue to update the Unions throughout the week.
