@~JD~ does BrickOwl use invoices or can I purchase all 35 of my lots in one go?

    3. ~JD~

      ~JD~

That I don't know, @HenryH BCFD would know since he uses Brickowl.

I find Brickowl to be more user friendly in terms of finding what I need. In terms of price they are both roughly the same depending on which stores you buy from.

  7. Son of a -----

I know how to work this gap in real bricks but LDD and SNOT don't mix

Build the center compartment sideways or see if you can bring the sides up where the plates will meet evenly again. I'd also recess the round tiles and only use one on the center compartment.

      Edward O.

@~JD~ tried sideways but if I do that I can't attach anything where those lights above the wheel is

    4. ~JD~

      ~JD~

If it's a two door center compartment then the handle will be more forward, with that you could attach a 1x1 brick with a stud on the side facing down where you can attach plates.

  8. Sutphen is unveiling a 108' rearmount at FDIC. The body on it does not look so great

The ladder has such a long overhang. It's like they tried to put a rear mount ladder on a mid mount body lol

    4. Sven

      Sven

@Michael, that's not that much overhang for Germans xD We deal with that on almost every German ladder truck ;)

  9. new brush truck in works!

  10. RIP FDNY FF Tolley

      Sven

Yes, very tragic circumstances caused his dead. We sent a proper donation via FDNY Foundation to William N. Tolley's Children's Educational Fund which will support his daughter.

  11. 2nd version of midmount should be up later

  12. How do I work functional outriggers into LDD?

    1. ~JD~

      ~JD~

What exactly are you asking, how to make working outriggers on LDD or how to make them function on LDD?

    2. Edward O.

      Edward O.

How to make them work when I actually build it

    3. ~JD~

      ~JD~

Well you can make a channel in the body that is big enough for a sideways brick to fit (two studs tall I believe) and that gives you the in and out function, the only issue is keeping them in there. Another option that most people do is use a headlight brick and attach the stabilizer face to it and when they extend it they just add a brick or two behind the face.

  13. Does LDD not have the fence piece with the end cut at a 45 degree angle?

      T.J. Brammer

      Nope, those are homemade parts.

      Edward O.

No I just bought some yesterday

    3. ~JD~

      ~JD~

If you're talking about these https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3185#T=C with a 45 degree cut on the end, then they're custom made.

  14. Rosenbauer Avenger anyone?!

    1. ~JD~

      ~JD~

Nope. Rosenbauer is as bad as Ferrara, spend to much time in the shop.

  15. My tower finally has an all-blue Velocity slope

  16. Take a look at my doodle in the gallery

  17. My brother being a ****** superglued my tower ladder's aerial to the turntable and now I need new parts cuz I had to rip 'em off... I'm just going to replace em.

I've got a tiller on the drawing board just for fun (quiller actually)

Who woulda thought, I made another weird color scheme

    1. ~JD~

      ~JD~

Soak the parts in warm water with dawn dish soap and a little rubbing alcohol. It should remove the super glue after a few hours. Scrubbing it with the same solution after soaking may also help, just use a rag or sponge, something that won't scratch up the surface.

  22. New Pierce in the works, I think a 4x4 with a front-mount pump

    1. ~JD~

      ~JD~

Seems interesting, but why this configuration?

    2. Edward O.

      Edward O.

Because A) I want to and B) I want to, practicality can suck it

    3. ~JD~

      ~JD~

Mkay, was just curious as to why. Don't see many front mounts in the LFC so to hear you're building one peaked my curiosity.

  23. How do I align the wheels on a 5-wide?

    1. Edward O.

      Edward O.
